About
ILO Convention C187 establishes an international framework for strengthening national Occupational Safety and Health systems and promoting a preventative OSH culture across all workplaces. The Convention encourages governments, employers, workers, and institutions to work collaboratively to continuously improve OSH performance and prevent work-related injuries, illnesses, and fatalities. This training program equips learners with the knowledge to interpret and apply C187 principles, understand national and organisational OSH responsibilities, and establish systems and policies that promote proactive, sustainable OSH improvements. The program links C187 requirements to ISO 45001 and other management system standards to support integrated OSH implementation.
