Accreditation Eligibility Requirements
To qualify for AOSH accreditation, applicants must demonstrate minimum organisational, training, and facility standards to ensure the delivery of credible, industry-aligned Occupational Health & Safety training.
Minimum Course Requirements
Applicants must offer structured OHS training programmes aligned with international standards.
Mandatory Core Programmes
(minimum 3 required)
Accredited training providers must offer at least three of the following core Occupational Health & Safety courses:

Occupational Health & Safety Management Introduction

ISO 45001: Occupational Health & Safety Management Systems Fundamentals
-
Hazard Identification & Risk Assessment (HIRA)
-
Incident & Accident Investigation
-
Emergency Preparedness & Response
-
Legal Liability & OHS Act Compliance
-
Safety Representative Training
Industry-Recognised Short Courses (minimum 2 required)
Applicants must offer at least two of the following industry-practical short courses:

First Aid Level 1–3

Fire Fighting & Evacuation Procedures

Working at Heights
-
Confined Space Entry
-
Lockout/Tagout Procedures
-
Safety File Development
-
Construction Safety Basics
-
ISO 14001 Environmental Management Awareness

Recommended Professional Competency Courses (optional)

Providers are encouraged to offer additional professional or continuing development programmes such as:

Internal Auditor ISO 45001 / ISO 9001

SHEQ Coordinator or Supervisor Development

OHS Leadership & Coaching Programmes

CPD Refresher Workshops


Accreditation applicants must also demonstrate:

Competent and qualified facilitators or OHS practitioners.

Documented training material and learner assessments.
-
A secure administration and record-keeping system for attendance, assessments, and certification.

Proof of business registration (where applicable).
-
Valid safety measures in place for emergency readiness during training delivery.
Summary of Accreditation Criteria
Training providers qualify for AOSH accreditation if they meet:

A minimum of three (3) mandatory core OHS programmes.

A minimum of two (2) recognised short courses.
-
A training venue that accommodates at least 20 learners.

Competent facilitators and compliant training administration systems.
-
Minimum safety and facility standards for effective programme delivery.
Training Centre Requirements
To ensure safe, effective and compliant learning delivery, applicants must demonstrate that their training facility meets the following requirements:

Dedicated training venue accommodating at least 20 learners seated comfortably
-
Safe and hygienic learning environment
-
Adequate ventilation and lighting
-
Appropriate OHS compliance signage
-
Functional presentation equipment (projector/screen or equivalent)
-
Accessible restroom facilities
-
Space for practical demonstrations where required
