The Associate Membership is designed for individuals who are new to the occupational health and safety field, those currently studying, or professionals building foundational experience in health and safety practice. This membership category recognises an early commitment to professional development, ethical conduct, and continuous learning within the health and safety profession.

Associate Members typically support health and safety functions or are in the early stages of their careers and are encouraged to participate in Continuous Professional Development (CPD) to build competence and progress to higher membership categories aligned with internationally recognised occupational health and safety standards.
